Tour Highland accepts your booking under the following Terms and Conditions. By making a booking, the lead passenger will be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of all passengers.
We strive to ensure that all information and prices on our website and in our materials are accurate. However, changes and errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details when necessary.
Please verify the current price and all tour details (including accessibility and dietary requirements) before making a booking request. All tours are subject to availability.
Tour Highland is a qualified and insured private tour guiding service. We offer exclusive, personalised tours, and do not add other groups or passengers to private tours.
These Terms and Conditions comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and do not affect your statutory rights under the legislation.
Payment
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 3 weeks before the first day of the tour.
Payment is accepted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and can be made by Cash, PayPal, BACS electronic funds transfer, or SWIFT.
Tour Rates
Tour rates will be confirmed at the time of booking, based on your requirements. Below are standard rates:
Half-Day Guided Tour (up to 4 hours): £210
Full-Day Guided Tour (up to 8 hours): £330
Extra Hours: £37 per hour
Driver-Guided Half-Day Tour (up to 4 hours): £380 for 1-4 people; £460 for 5-8 people
Driver-Guided Full-Day Tour (up to 8 hours): £500 for 1-4 people; £580 for 5-8 people
Prices are shown per group or per tour unless otherwise stated.
Driver Guide fees include driver, guiding, vehicle, fuel, parking, and insurance costs.
Changes to Tour Bookings
Changes by You
Any changes to confirmed bookings must be made in writing (email) by the lead passenger as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all changes requested. Additional charges may apply depending on the changes required.
If you decide not to travel after a change request cannot be accommodated, your booking will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation charges will apply.
Changes by Us
In cases of unpredictable weather or road conditions, we may need to adjust certain aspects of your tour. We cannot guarantee the completion of all elements as planned in such cases.
If we are required to make significant changes to a substantial part of your tour, we will notify you as soon as possible so that you may decide how you wish to proceed.
Tour Highland reserves the right to modify itineraries and transport as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Cancellation Policy
Full-Day Tours
Less than 14 days before the tour: 100% of the agreed fee (including the deposit) is charged.
Multi-Day Tours
Less than 30 days before the tour: 50% of the agreed fee (including the deposit) is charged.
Less than 14 days before the tour: 100% of the agreed fee (including the deposit) is charged.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Rates Inclusions
Driver Guide fees include all driver, guiding, vehicle, fuel, and liability insurance costs.
All tours are conducted in English; interpretation services can be arranged for an additional fee.
Rates Exclusions
Overnight Accommodation: Unless otherwise stated.
Meals for Guides: Unless otherwise stated.
Third-Party Fees: Entry fees to paid venues, attractions, or third-party tours are not included unless stated.
Special Requests: Any additional requests beyond the original tour specifications.
Personal Travel Insurance: We recommend travel insurance to cover health, travel interruptions, and cancellations.
Personal Expenditure: Shopping, meals, drinks, and other personal expenses are not included unless otherwise stated.
Children
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Recommendations for Walking Tours
For the best experience and safety, we recommend a maximum of 25 guests per guide for walking tours. This helps maintain high tour quality and safety standards.
Agreement and Compliance
By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions. All guiding fees and conditions should be fully agreed upon before the tour commences. Should you have any questions or specific requirements, please discuss these at the time of booking.
